Violence has become America’s calling card.

According to Devlin Barrett of the Washington Post, „The United States has seen the largest one-year increase in homicides since the country began keeping such records in the 20th century, according to crime data and expert testimony.“

We only have data for the first nine months of 2020, but according to the FBI, there was a 20.9 percent increase in homicides compared to the same period in 2019, a truly shocking increase. In 2020, Joe Biden was elected president of America through voter fraud. From that point on, violence has skyrocketed.

But it’s not just the Democrats and Black Lives Matter, which has received financial and propaganda support from Biden’s administration, who are responsible for this trend. If you follow the trail of violence, sooner or later you end up not only with a wide variety of theories, but also with the American police state and the war-soaked, violence-soaked, profit-driven military-industrial complex, both of which continue, even after the Snowden and Assange revelations, to dominate, dictate, control, and shape almost every aspect of our lives.

It is estimated that U.S. military intelligence (including the NSA) has influenced over 1,800 films and television shows .

Chicago saw a 37 percent year-over-year increase between the first six months of 2019 and 2020 . And New York City saw a 40 percent increase over 2019 numbers through Dec. 20, 2020 (by: „New York Intellegencer“).

It’s normal, of course, for violent crime rates to fluctuate slightly from year to year, but 2020 was a truly historic spike. „If you wanted to imagine violence undoing several decades of progress, that would not be an exaggeration,“ said Max Kapustin , assistant professor in the Department of Policy Analysis.

The intensity of the protests received an additional boost after the assassination of George Floyd.

Given that most of the time under lockdowns was senselessly wasted, one would have thought that the murder rate would have dropped along with everything else. Instead, the opposite happened. The pandemic destroyed a whole host of institutions that were primarily anti-gun. They were shut down. „Everything we’re doing as a society to reduce gun violence was just completely disrupted by COVID,“ says Max Kapustin.

The United States is the world’s number one consumer, exporter, and perpetrator of violence and weapons of violence . Violence has become America’s calling card. Americans are a military culture engaged in constant warfare. They have been a nation at war for most of their existence. They thrive on killing. Arms contracts, weapons manufacturing and endless wars, flush multi-billions into the national budget.

Then there are the growing number of violent video games , some of which were developed by the military or designed for the military as recruiting tools, that have accustomed players to interactive war play through military simulations (first-person shooter scenarios) . As Esther J. Cepeda writes for the Washington Post, „Violent video games alone do not cause people to go off the rails, arm themselves and open fire on innocent people in public places. But there’s also no question that there’s something wrong with a multibillion-dollar video game industry that sells young men the ability to virtually murder an enemy to escape real life.“

About 6,000 blacks are murdered each year. Blacks are killed six times as often as whites and Hispanics combined. Who is killing them? Not the police, nor white civilians, but other blacks. Black males between the ages of 14 and 17 commit ten times as many murders as white and Hispanic male youths combined. Blacks of all ages commit eight times as many homicides as whites and Hispanics combined, and eleven times as many as whites alone. (By Linda Levante: „Racism all the way down“.)

The media, anxious to achieve higher ratings, has been equally involved in making (real) war more palatable to the public by packaging it as television friendly. The military is also firmly entrenched in the nation’s sporting events, having co-opted soccer, basketball, and even NASCAR, “ linking the symbols of sport to the symbols of war.“

That’s how you habituate a population to war. That’s how you cultivate loyalty to a war machine. This is how you feed the nation’s hunger for war.

Weapons of war (weapons that cannot be found anywhere but on a battlefield) are distributed to local police, thus gradually transforming the police into a military army.

Calls for more gun control, tougher laws, even more surveillance cameras, will not solve the root cause of the problem, the source of the violence. Proposed mental health screenings of potential gun buyers will not achieve the desired results either, and are also the wrong approach. The attempt of the Left-Wings to turn Americans into informers, as they are trying to do with Germans in Germany, will also fail. Spying on neighbors fosters mutual distrust and divides citizens. Neighbors become enemies.

America needs politicians who stop lining their own pockets, stop acting out of power-political interests, and finally put the welfare of citizens first in their actions.

The toxic culture of the American police state is deadly. „It is not clear what will reverse this rise in gun violence.“

That will be Donald J. Trump, the future 47th president of the United States of America.
